Scratch board is made by putting a layer of white clay on a board or heavy paper and coating it with black ink. Images are then made by scratching through the black ink to expose the white clay underneath. I then sometimes use watercolors to add color and depth, rescratching to add more detail. Please Note the small boards (smaller than 8x10 inches) may show up larger than life when you click on the image.
